Betty, I never thought of you as an Aunt, more like a sister. You baby sat me and then we baby sat your children. We even shared the same Wedding Day...50 years next year....where has that time gone? What fun we both had looking after the twins, how we coped is beyond me.
I thank you for supporting mum through her dementia, I hope you sisters are reunited, you were always told to 'stick together'
Family is everything, I'm proud of my family and honoured to have you as my Aunt. Sleep well. Xx

The first time that I met you
I was as nervous as could be
Unsure if you would like me,
But you put me right at ease.
You made me feel so welcome,
And I knew you were sincere
You encouraged me with kindness
And took away my fear.
You viewed me as a daughter
In your very special way
Included me in your family,
And I treasured that each day.
Thank you for accepting me,
And caring as you do.
I thank God for the family
And for blessing me with you.
From a very grateful daughter-in-law.
